Plenty of great hiking awaits
both the experienced and novice hiker. Several trails right on ranch
property offer a variety of terrain and extend the already great
views of the ocean and town below. One of the historical Chumash
painted
caves is an easy walk down Painted Cave road, and the
historical remains of Knapp's
Castle is a moderate hike up the road.
Laurel Springs Retreat is adjacent to the Southern section of Los
Padres National Forest, and there are many longer hikes available
throughout the area. Maps and guidebooks to all our local hikes
are available in the Lodge. |
